Samarkand in a 2-ply yarn comprised of 75% pure new wool and 25% silk. This yarn can be knitted with one or more threads together. It combines the softness of pure new wool with the sheen and elegance of silk, creating a beautiful and very soft yarn.

This yarn contains a little spinning oil and is delivered unwashed. It should be machine washed on cold, after which it will become extremely soft.
